| Position Details
|
Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to
- Coding in Java
- Ensuring smooth and timely delivery of the project in collaboration with the project leads and the project manager
Required qualifications:
- Software development experience using standard web technologies, e.g. Java, JSP, SOAP, XML, Hibernate, JBoss, HTML, CSS, Struts, Stripes
- Strong understanding of version control tools like subversion or CVS
- Must have strong relational database (SQL) experience – Oracle experience a plus
- Must have Linux/Unix experience
- Experience working with Open source Java stack is a plus
- Experience with Application Servers is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Ability to communicate with and influence customers
- Must have strong teamwork, flexibility and communication skills
- Independent self-starter who is highly focused and results oriented
- A strong sense of responsibility and rigorous attention to detail
Education & Experience:
- B.E. or M.Sc. Degree in Computer Sc. Or M.C.A or Bachelors degree in related engineering discipline of Foreign equivalent
- Must have at least 4-6 years of Java/J2EE Development experience
